Honestly, I didn't picture Rue as black either....
It has nothing to do with racism or that I hate black people or anything like that. But while reading the book, I pictured Rue as a small, frail looking girl with blonde hair and these soft blue eyes.
Not that I don’t think that this actress won’t portray Rue in the proper way but it was not my vision of her. If that makes you think I’m a rascist I don’t care.
